Banks and Digital Marketing
On any given day, I use one or more of the following social media sites: Twitter, Facebook, Google+, and Linkedin. And I suspect I’m behind the curve compared to many of you. It’s no wonder many businesses have initiatives to better leverage the social media channel as an important part of the overall digital marketing strategy. I recently visited the Facebook site for each of the top 10 retail banks in the US and found vast differences in consumer engagement for these companies, the most extensive of which includes full-scale consumer education, product suggestions, and customer interactions.
Is your bank making use of digital marketing as a means to interact with customers?
