CMS Selects Anakam to Provide MFA for the QualityNet Identity Management Initiative
The Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) selected Anakam Identity Services for the strong authentication of practitioners into sensitive patient data stored in the QualityNet online portal. As part of the national rollout of centralized multi-factor authentication services, our partner, Edaptive, will integrate Anakam Identity Services with the QualityNet Identity Management System (QIMS) to provide trusted access to electronic Protected Health Information (ePHI) that must be protected from inadvertent or malicious disclosure in accordance with federal regulations and policies.
“Anakam is becoming the leader in providing multi-factor authentication solutions for citizen-facing eGovernment business enablement. Not only do they provide their award winning software platform, their demonstrated expertise in healthcare and technical competence at every level – from product design to implementation through support – is exceptional and we are excited to be working with them,” stated Frank Blair, Edaptive’s CEO.
