E-Verify Shutdown Avoided – DHS Funded
Department of Homeland Security funded through Sept. 30
On March 3, 2015 Congress has reached an agreement to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through the September 30 end of the budget year and E-Verify service will NOT be disrupted as was reported as a possibility in our previous posts, “DHS Funding/Immigration Remain in the News – E-Verify Implications” and “E-Verify Avoided with Short-term Funding Extension”.
Please continue to complete Form I-9s and submit applicable cases to E-Verify as is your standard operating procedure.
