DHS Short-term Funding Approved; Immediate E-Verify Shutdown Avoided
Congress has reached a short-term agreement to fund the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through Friday, 3/6 and E-Verify service will NOT be disrupted at this time as was reported as a possibility in our previous post, DHS Funding/Immigration Remain in the News – E-Verify Implications.
Please continue to complete Form I-9s and submit applicable cases to E-Verify as is your standard operating procedure.
