We’re excited to announce that the Equifax Affordable Care Act Management Solution has won a 2017 Benefitfocus Celebrate Community Award for Technology Excellence! This is awarded to one Benefitfocus partner at their annual One Place user conference, and “Recognizes organizations that create or implement products and services to reduce administrative costs, establish efficiencies and implement strategies to achieve important corporate goals.” Our ACA Management solution was selected from a strong group of fifteen Benefitfocus partner nominees.
Our specialized ACA compliance team on Daniel Island, SC has worked diligently with our partners and neighbors at Benefitfocus (we’re located just down the street!) to assist mutual clients in maintaining compliance with complex ACA mandates. Highlighted as the key components of our award nomination were two critical data feeds to support compliance: one for IRS Reporting and one for Eligibility Results. The Eligibility Feed allows employers to quickly and efficiently update the benefits offerings for each of their employees within the Benefitfocus Marketplace. The IRS Reporting feed then sends the benefits offering and enrollment data over to the Equifax ACA Management Solution to generate the necessary ACA forms at the end of each reporting year. Both of these feeds require little to no effort on the employer’s part as data is automatically transferred between Benefitfocus and Equifax. The result is truly a countless number of administrative hours being saved.
Together, Equifax and Benefitfocus have managed ACA compliance for over 160 mutual clients representing over 1.6 million employees.
