Latest Credit Trends Highlights Lower Delinquencies, Business Lending, Retail Cards
Equifax has released the latest National Credit Trend Summaries and some highlights include:
- Lower delinquencies in multiple portfolios: Auto lending, consumer finance, credit card and first mortgages portfolios all showed a significant decrease in delinquency rates.
- Increased demand for retail credit: In July retail card portfolios showed significant gains, including the highest number of open retail credit cards since December, 2009.
