Massachusetts Hiring Incentive Training Grant (HITG) Program
The Hiring Incentive Training Grant is an incentive from the state of Massachusetts to aid employers of any size in the recruiting and training of residents who are either honorably-discharged military veterans or have been unemployed for at least six months. Grants of $5,000 are available for each qualifying new hire once the employee has remained employed for at least 120 days, with a maximum of $75,000 per employer each calendar year. The state requires a 30-day turnaround for information regarding qualifying employees.
Equifax Workforce Solutions can assist with screening new hires and submitting required information in a timely manner.
