New Jersey Recent Unemployment Legislation
New Jersey SB2730 and AB3819 were enacted. This legislation sets the rate
schedule at D for the 2011/2012 rate year and at E for 2012/2013. With
out this legislation the rate schedule for both rate years would have been schedule
E plus 10%. It also modifies the trust
fund reserve ratios which set the rate schedule each year so that larger reserves
are required before tax rates are reduced.
