Ohio Federal Title XII Loan Interest
Ohio legislators approved a budget that included the creation of an Unemployment Compensation Contingency
Fund for the payment of interest on the state’s federal Title XII loan. The
legislature also appropriated a little more than $100 million in funds to this account. Employers
will not be responsible to pay any additional tax to pay interest this year.
