Webinar: New Federal Guidance on Internal I-9 Audits

Join us to hear a well-known immigration attorney discuss recently-issued federal guidance for employers conducting an internal I-9 audit.
Montserrat Miller, Partner at Arnall Golden Gregory LLP, will walk you through guidance recently issued jointly by the Department of Justice and the Department of Homeland Security for employers planning to conduct an internal audit of their Forms I-9 on file. Miller will provide background on key points in the guidance, as well as address best practices for avoiding potential pitfalls in an audit. In addition, she will discuss the proposed changes to the Form I-9, which is due to expire this year, and discuss the implications for employers.
Chad Whittenberg, Senior Director of Product Management at Equifax Workforce Solutions, will discuss tools that aid in automating the audit process and help identify and prioritize errors needing remediation.
